Unexpected Friendships

OK, it’s actually nearly been two weeks, but who’s counting?

We’ve been really busy catching up with friends and family – time spent in pools, lakes, air conditioned houses, backyards, and even good ol’ Green Top Tavern.

One thing that is funny in this facebook world of ours is that the last few times I’ve been home, I’ve actually been able to connect and spend time with people I wouldn’t actually have anticipated seeing. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed making and strengthening these unexpected bonds.

I’ve also found that the friendships I’ve always had are still there and still just as strong. I have felt so incredibly loved lately. It’s a great feeling.
