So, back in 2013, just before we moved, I made a short list of things I thought I might miss about the UK. Three years on, and after a recent trip back to check in on our UK roots, I decided to revisit the list and see what, if anything, has changed.

The Original List

My Current Thoughts

  • Radio 2 – specifically Chris Evans, Jeremy Vine, and Simon Mayo
    • j rockstar (2)

      Rock. Star.

I still miss these guys, but as what usually happens, life has gone on without them. Now I’ve got Rod, Dinah and Alex of 94.5 the Buzz to get me through my mornings. I’ve also discovered the pure grunge indulgence that is Channels 22 and 34 on Siriusxm.

  • The metric system
    • The metric system is just easier. It is. I know, it’s confusing to have to change the way you think, but give it a try. You’ll like it. Eventually. I promise.
